Donations

The majority of donations that SABRI has made has been to youth individuals or teams travelling to participate in educational or recreational activities. SInce SABRI began in 1997 it has donated more than $200,000 to residents who needed help at one time or another.

This includes $30,000 which it has donated to the Grenfell Foundation. SABRI is very proud to support the fundraising efforts of the Grenfell Foundation to raise funds to purchase specialized medical equipment for the southern part of the Labrador-Grenfell region. The SABRI Board has approved an annual contribution of $10,000 for period of three years (2005, 2006, & 2007). THis $30,000 contribution will leverage matching dollars from the Provincial Government realizing a total of $60,000 to purchase new medical equipment.
